4 Day Silent Retreat
Tulum Jungle, January 17 - 20

Like Vipassana, but with a creative touch

How does it feel to eat in silence, walk in silence, sit in silence?
Are you curious to remember, how it is to put your phone away? It scares most of us to leave our phones turned off.
But it is so healing...

For a deep journey to be a littler lighter and as supportive and rich as possible, you will be offered a variety of out-of-the-box silence tools.

This retreat is perfect for first-time-meditators as it offers a framework for self-observation, and emotion regulation for you to calm the monkey mind.

Frequently asked questions
How is the silent time structured?

All meals will be silent. We break the silence only for a sharing circle which will be announced. Anyone who wants to stay silent even in the sharing circle will carry a silent card, a card designed for this retreat that reads "I choose silence".

When does the silent time start?

We have an opening circle where we agree on intentions, share thoughts. It is a chance to get to know the other participants. Nicole will explain the guidelines , when silent time begins and ends and there is time for questions.

How will a typical morning be?

After waking up, we offer to get together in a silent circle to journal, write or draw. There will be a daily breathing / pranayama practice each morning to help you ground.

Will facilitators be silent too?

Yes, except when the facilitator guides breathwork, movement or a meditation. Even the chef in the kitchen will reduce talking to a minimum and only to the retreat leader.

What if there is an emergency?

If it is urgent, you can apporach the facilitator first with a written question. If it is easy to answer, we remain silent. For urgent issues, we break the silence.

What if I struggle to stay silent?

The intentional activities are designed to support you during the silent time. Being in community is usually helpful, everyone will be in this journey and simultaneiusly process their own feelings. Like in movement or meditation, discomfort is a chance to grow and develop resilience and patience.
